Finished off the Jeffrey Archer book and swapped it for one by Ian MacEwan. Changed the last but one of my traveller's cheques.

Spent a lot of time trying to fix some formatting problems on the diary web site. Found that the server wasn't dynamically updating the htm files that I was uploading, so I wasted a lot of time trying to fix something that was OK in the first place!

I'd been good all through this trip, so now that it was coming to an end I felt like letting loose a little steam, and decided to head for a drinking quarter on Sukhumvit Road.

That's when the shit hit the proverbial fan...

Went to Sukhumvit Road earlier on in the evening. Returned late to the hotel, but was followed. Drinks probably spiked. Did not awake until 1:30 PM on Thursday, head pounding. Laptop, digital camera, credit cards and cash missing. My own fault—did not securely lock room.
